UKMDA Members are committed to working to the relevant British and European Standards in all aspects of their work.
This starts with training, through to the planning of works, the installation of access and safety equipment, the equipment and materials provided by our members and the installation of the metal decking and stud welding.
Key standards, codes of practice and guidance UKMDA Members follow can be found below.
The UKMDA are currently in the process of developing a core training programme for metal deckers and stud welders, which will be supported by a full NVQ. Please keep up to date on our Training page of this website.
